Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a seasoned Drone as First Responder (DFR) Solutions Architect to drive the CAPE cloud deployments for public safety. The role requires designing end-to-end DFR solutions, managing full deployment lifecycles, and delivering expert post-implementation support to ensure mission-critical operations.

Ideal candidates will have deep drone operations knowledge, strong architecture and integration skills, and the willingness to travel 50–75% for on-site and remote

Qualifications

• 3+ years of drone-related work experience.
• Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Drone Pilot Certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.

Responsibilities

• Consult with public safety customers to assess needs and design DFR solutions.
• Define system architecture, hardware requirements, and integration strategies.
• Architect end-to-end data workflows for live video, telemetry, and evidence with CJIS security standards.
• Lead end-to-end deployment of DFR programs and ensure successful system launch.
• Integrate CAPE with CAD/RMS and automate dispatch triggers for incidents.
