Job summary

Frsecure Llc is seeking a DFIR Analyst to provide high-quality incident response investigations across diverse client environments. The role emphasizes proactive project work, tabletop exercises, and client coaching while maintaining strong documentation and reporting practices.

The position supports remote work within a defined US-based set of states, with on-call responsibilities and standard business hours.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of information security experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and M365.
• Experience presenting security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Prior threat hunting and incident handling experience.
• Familiarity with EDR and SIEM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic reviews of client systems for artifacts and IOCs to contain threats.
• Conduct triage, threat hunting, and case management for IR clients.
• Document evidence, findings, and produce detailed reports.
• Meet with clients during planning, information sharing, and technical support stages.
• Deliver proactive projects such as tabletop exercises and plan coaching.
