Job summary

FRSecure, LLC is seeking a DFIR Analyst to provide forensic investigations and incident response support for clients across various maturity levels. The role combines proactive project work with hands-on triage and case management, requiring strong analytical skills and effective client communication.

The position allows full-time remote work within the United States and requires participation in on-call rotations, with a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of information security experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, systems administration, Exchange administration, M365 and/or other cloud environments.
• GCIH, GCFA, ECIH certifications preferred.
• Prior experience in threat hunting and/or incident handling.
• Prior experience in management of EDR and/or SIEM technologies.
• Experience with firewalls and network devices best practices and logging.
• Solid understanding of computer systems administration in large environments.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
• Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Performing a forensic review of client systems for artifacts and IOCs.
• Conducting triage, threat-hunting, and case management for incident response clients.
• Documenting evidence, findings, and creating reports output.
• Meeting with clients during planning and information sharing stages.
• Creating and delivering proactive projects including tabletop exercises and plan coaching.
• Regular client calls to consult on incident response programs.
• Continuing education on developments in cyber forensics and attack methodologies.
• Participating in regular internal meetings.
• On-call rotation and after-hours support to meet SLAs.
