Job summary

FRSecure, LLC is seeking a DFIR Analyst to provide high-quality incident response support across varied environments from a fully remote basis in the United States. The role includes triage, forensics, client engagement, and proactive project work with tabletop exercises and plan coaching.

You will perform forensic reviews, containment, and remediation guidance while growing within a mission-driven security culture and expanding expertise in DFIR practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years information security experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, M365 and cloud environments.
• Experience in threat hunting and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic review of client systems for artifacts and indicators of compromise (IOCs) to identify, contain, and eradicate malware.
• Conduct triage, threat-hunting, and case management for incident response clients.
• Document detailed evidence, findings, and generate a formal report.
• Meet with clients during planning, information sharing, and technical support stages.
• Create and deliver proactive projects including tabletop exercises and plan coaching.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours CSIRT support to meet SLAs.
• Stay current on developments in cyber forensics and attack methods.
