Job summary

Serco is seeking a highly skilled Experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This 100% remote role focuses on embedding security across the SDLC, with emphasis on cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and security best practices.

You will design and maintain secure pipelines, integrate SAST/DAST and container scanning, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, collaborate across teams, and monitor for vulnerabilities while staying current with threats and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate SAST/DAST and container scanning into workflows.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
• Stay current with evolving security threats and best practices.
