Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in a 100% remote role. You will integrate security throughout the SDLC, design secure CI/CD pipelines, and automate cloud infrastructure using IaC tools.

Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams is essential to deliver secure software. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in DevOps or security engineering, proficiency with Azure, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and common CI/CD tools such as Jenkins,

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating SAST/DAST, container scanning into workflows.
• Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Ability to monitor security incidents and respond to threats.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools and practices into development and deployment workflows (e.g., SAST, DAST, container scanning).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
