Job summary

Serco seeks an Experienced DevSecOps Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will embed security across the SDLC, build secure pipelines, automate infra with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and work with teams to ensure secure software delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in DevOps or Cloud/Security, strong Azure skills, and experience with container tech (Docker, Kubernetes) along with scripting. US citizenship and DoD Secret clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
2+ years in DevOps, Security or Cloud engineering.
Experience with Azure and modern CI/CD tooling.
Experience integrating security tools (SAST, DAST) and container security.
Ability to design secure IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS).
U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate security tools into development and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation).
Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
