Job summary

Serco is seeking a highly skilled Experienced DevSecOps Engineer for 100% remote work. You will embed security across the software lifecycle, build secure CI/CD pipelines, and automate cloud infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

Strong Azure experience and security tooling are essential. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct threat modeling, and stay ahead of evolving security threats and practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong background in Azure and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, container scanning and security best practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools and practices into development and deployment workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
