Job summary

Serco is seeking an Experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. This 100% remote role focuses on embedding security throughout the software lifecycle, with emphasis on cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and threat modeling.

You will design secure pipelines, automate IaC, and integrate SAST/DAST and container scanning while collaborating across security, development, and operations teams. A DoD security clearance is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in DevOps, security or cloud engineering.
• Experience with Azure and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools into deployment workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Stay current with emerging threats and best practices.
