Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer for a 100% remote role. This position centers on embedding security into the SDLC, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD practices.

The ideal candidate will design secure pipelines, integrate SAST/DAST and container scanning, automate IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and collaborate across teams while pursuing DoW Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain DoW Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years in DevOps, Security or Cloud Eng.
• Proficiency with Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools into deployment workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Stay current with emerging security threats and best practices.
