Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support a DoD modernization program. This remote role begins after award and focuses on building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and automated pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and AWS GovCloud.

You will implement IaC, container hardening, and observability while ensuring high availability of production apps during migration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience using Helm for Kubernetes application deployment and management.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of container hardening and secure deployment practices.
• Experience working with AWS GovCloud.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to meet Tier 5 eligibility requirements if privileged administration is required.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain infrastructure as code using OpenTofu and Helm within Kubernetes environments hosted on AWS GovCloud.
• Support the development and operation of a secure, scalable, and reliable application platform.
• Maintain consistency across environments by promoting the same code through established deployment processes.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines within the customer's GitLab environment.
• Integrate automated build, security scanning, policy enforcement, testing, evidence collection, and deployment stages into delivery pipelines.
• Apply container security and hardening practices to support secure application deployments.
• Operate and maintain the integration gateway and observability stack to support platform reliability and performance.
