Job summary

West 4th Strategy is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will build secure cloud infrastructure, automate CI/CD pipelines, and integrate security tooling across the development lifecycle for SEC's DRP system.

The role requires experience with GitHub Actions, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), Docker, and secure coding practices, plus US citizenship and eligibility to obtain SEC public trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure AWS cloud environments using IaC best practices and integrate security tools (Veracode, Burp Suite) to create secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy source code using automated pipelines on GitHub Actions with SEC-approved IaC and Immutable Architecture for all deployments.
• Conduct static code analysis, dependency analysis, and container scanning using SEC-approved tooling.
• Apply security patches, maintain certificates, and address vulnerabilities continuously, supporting POA&M remediation.
• Coach developers on secure coding practices and safeguard cloud resources across teams.
• Configure continuous cloud security monitoring and logging to meet compliance standards.
