Job summary

Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support a DoD modernization program. You will build, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines using AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, IaC, and secure CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes platform reliability, observability, and secure onboarding of applications, with two‑week sprints and DoD clearance eligibility. Remote work with some travel to the DC area is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience using Helm for Kubernetes deployment and management.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of container hardening and secure deployment practices.
• Experience working with AWS GovCloud.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for observability.
• Ability to promote secure, repeatable onboarding and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain infrastructure as code using OpenTofu and Helm in Kubernetes on AWS GovCloud.
• Develop and operate a secure, scalable application platform with automated pipelines.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines within the customer's GitLab environment.
• Integrate automated build, security scanning, policy enforcement, testing, and deployment stages.
• Apply container security and hardening practices for secure deployments.
• Operate and maintain the integration gateway and observability stack for platform reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to enable secure, repeatable onboarding and deployment processes.
