Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support a DoD modernization program. You will build, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines using AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, IaC, and secure CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes platform reliability, observability, and secure onboarding of applications, with two‑week sprints and DoD clearance eligibility. Remote work with some travel to the DC area is expected.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience using Helm for Kubernetes deployment and management.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of container hardening and secure deployment practices.
• Experience working with AWS GovCloud.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for observability.
• Ability to promote secure, repeatable onboarding and deployment processes.

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking an experienced

DevSecOps Engineer

to support a mission‑critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer. This position is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated start in October 2026. This initiative will transform how users access and interact with a portfolio of production applications by creating a unified platform featuring single sign‑on, a common user interface, and a repeatable approach for integrating applications. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building, securing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines that support this modernization effort. You will work with modern cloud‑native technologies while helping ensure existing mission‑critical applications remain operational throughout the transition. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high‑impact federal modernization initiative using AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and secure CI/CD practices.

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

Build, configure, and maintain infrastructure as code using OpenTofu and Helm within Kubernetes environments hosted on AWS GovCloud.

Support the development and operation of a secure, scalable, and reliable application platform.

Maintain consistency across environments by promoting the same code through established deployment processes.

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines within the customer's GitLab environment.

Integrate automated build, security scanning, policy enforcement, testing, evidence collection, and deployment stages into delivery pipelines.

Apply container security and hardening practices to support secure application deployments.

Platform Operations & Observability

Operate and maintain the integration gateway and observability stack to support platform reliability and performance.

Support ongoing platform operations while maintaining the stability of existing production applications.

Collaborate with technical teams to enable secure, repeatable application onboarding and deployment processes.

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
• Experience using Helm for Kubernetes application deployment and management.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of container hardening and secure deployment practices.
• Experience working with AWS GovCloud.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry for application and infrastructure observability.

Remote

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours of 9:00 a.m. The team operates in two‑week sprints, with a customer demonstration each sprint.

Travel

0–10%, within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Eligibility

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance. An active Secret clearance or higher.
