Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to embed security into cloud infrastructure and delivery processes for a client in the insurance sector. The role covers AWS and Azure, focusing on IaC, automated guardrails, and CI/CD security in a B2B remote setup based in Poland.

You will enable developers with secure templates, maintain automated guardrails, and harden pipelines across both cloud platforms while collaborating with Security and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud operations or infrastructure experience in production environments on AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience designing and securing automated build and release pipelines at scale.
• Working knowledge of native security services and access controls across AWS and Azure.
• Advanced infrastructure-as-code skills, including modular design and immutable infrastructure patterns (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation).

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain automated policy guardrails using IaC linting and scanning tooling (e.g., Checkov, Tfsec, and OPA/Rego) to flag misconfigurations before production.
• Build and operate highly available infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
• Integrate security agents into base images and container environments and develop distribution flows with Azure Extensions and AWS SSM.
• Bridge Security and Engineering by providing remediation guidance and secure templates (Terraform modules, Helm charts).
• Continuously review and harden CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native security services, and access controls in both clouds.
