Job summary

Cloud Hybrid Technologies, LLC in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Platform Engineer to optimize and support our internal developer platform and CI/CD pipelines using Harness and cloud tooling.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve workflows, manage deployments, monitor observability, and ensure platform reliability in a remote-first environment, with strong emphasis on incident response and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with Harness pipelines, delegates, and connectors.
• Experience managing, upgrading, troubleshooting Harness environments in private cloud.
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud services (EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with CICD workflows, GitOps, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Helm).
• Experience withDevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application logs, deployment pipelines, and cloud integrations.
• Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics).
• Prior experience supporting internal developer platforms or platform engineering teams.
• Exposure to container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, EKS, GKE).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL-based incident management.
• Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and diagnostics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, especially in remote-first environments.
• Monitor Harness pipelines, delegates, and logs for anomalies using observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
• Respond to support tickets, Slack alerts, and incident reports in real-time.
• Assist with delegate upgrades, connector configurations, and onboarding of new services.
• Troubleshoot CICD pipeline failures and integration issues across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer workflows and platform reliability.
• Facilitate and coordinate developer enablement activities such as onboarding sessions, documentation updates, and platform usage training.
• Maintain and enhance platform documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
