Job summary

Stanley Reid & Company is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer in Columbia, MD to sustain mission-critical software and systems across the development lifecycle. You will build release pipelines, automate deployments, and maintain version control within an Agile team.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and experience with Git, Linux, Windows, Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, MySQL, and AWS. Remote work options are available, and a strong emphasis is placed on collaboration and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of experience.
• Experience with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering methodologies.
• Proficiency with Git, Linux, Windows, Agile methodologies, Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, MySQL and AWS.
• Programming experience with Ruby, C/C++, Go, Python or Java.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sustain critical mission-related software and systems across the development lifecycle.
• Support architecture design, deployment, and debugging efforts.
• Build and maintain release pipelines and automate deployments.
• Maintain and version control software using established systems.
• Set up new sites using configuration management tools and optimize service stacks.
