Job summary

Stanley Reid & Company is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer in Columbia, MD to sustain mission-critical software and systems across the development lifecycle. You will build release pipelines, automate deployments, and maintain version control within an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of experience.
• Experience with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering methodologies.
• Proficiency with Git, Linux, Windows, Agile methodologies, Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, MySQL and AWS.
• Programming experience with Ruby, C/C++, Go, Python or Java.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

The Role

Our client is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to provide technical expertise in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems. You will support the entire development lifecycle, from architectural design to deployment and debugging. The role involves building release pipelines, automating deployments, and maintaining version control systems within an Agile team. You will also set up new sites using configuration management tools and analyze service stacks for improvements.

What You’ll Bring
