Job summary

Stanley Reid & Company is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java) in Annapolis Junction, MD to support critical, long-term missions. You will develop software individually and with an Agile team, analyze complex requirements, and author deployment automation scripts.

A Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required, with substantial Java experience and a broad tech stack. Preferred skills include JVM-based servers, scripting, CI/CD, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; substitution allowed for experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Java is required.
• Experience with a broad tech stack: Java/JEE, Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, PERL, PowerShell, VBS, Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins on Windows.
• UI development, databases, XHTML/HTML/XML/XSLT experience.
• Experience on Windows and/or Linux OS.
• Strong software development principles and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop software individually and in an Agile team.
• Participate in program increment planning and analyze complex requirements.
• Create, document, and maintain automation scripts for deployment.
• Promote code reuse and cross‑program collaboration.
