Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Germany seeks a hands-on DevOps Engineer to scale our infrastructure and platform tooling. You will own build and deployment pipelines, improve observability, and drive cloud-cost management across engineering teams.

You will collaborate with application engineers, QA, security, and finance to ensure reliable, secure systems and productive development workflows. Deep proficiency with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and FinOps is required, along with strong Python or Go

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles, ideally in high-growth startup environments.
• Proficiency in Python or Go, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform, and cloud cost management.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve our DevOps and platform engineering function, from build and deployment pipelines to monitoring, IaC, and cost optimization.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that are secure, scalable, and support rapid product iterations.
• Improve observability with Datadog, GCP, and custom dashboards focusing on FinOps outcomes.
• Implement and maintain FinOps governance, including showback/chargeback models.
