Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and automate deploy pipelines and release tooling across a fast-paced software delivery environment. You will containerize and modernize environments, implement CI/CD with GitLab and ArgoCD, and collaborate with engineering teams to remove friction and accelerate delivery.

You’ll write Python and Bash scripts, mentor teammates, and help drive complex, cross-cutting initiatives while embracing AI tools to improve

Qualifications

• Designing, building, and maintaining deploy and release pipelines.
• Automating build, packaging, deployment, and validation of software delivery.
• Authoring reusable GitLab CI templates, Helm charts, and ArgoCD apps.
• Containerizing and modernizing QA and lower environments to production parity.
• Writing clean automation and scripts in Python and Bash.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining deploy and release pipelines with reduced manual intervention.
• Building internal release tooling and automation for scripts, deployments, and workflows.
• Advancing CI/CD with GitOps templates, Helm charts, and ArgoCD applications for self-serve pipelines.
• Containerizing QA and lower environments to achieve production parity.
• Modernizing build tools and ensuring use of current tech across teams.
• Troubleshooting deployment and infra issues with engineering teams.
• Writing unit tests and automation, leveraging AI tools to reduce toil.
