Job summary

California Surveying & Drafting Supply seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer, ideally California-based with remote preference, to design, build, automate, secure, and operate our Digital Products Platform. This role partners with software teams to deliver scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and strong observability while boosting security, reliability, and deployment speed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Experience managing enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with AWS and cloud governance.
• Hands-on IaC experience and scripting skills.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Provisioning and managing database services experience.
• Understanding of networking, identity management, and security.
• Experience supporting production environments and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure for enterprise products.
• Manage production and non-production environments with high availability.
• Develop and maintain IaC and environment provisioning.
• Design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Monitor platform health and develop alerting and dashboards.
• Support incident management and post-incident reviews.
• Ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Mentor teams on DevOps best practices.
