Job summary

Hidden Level is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design scalable deployment strategies for local and remote devices and servers, and to optimize build system performance. You will enhance automation and CI/CD coverage while addressing infrastructure issues in a fast-paced team.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in design reviews, and communicate designs clearly. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience are expected, with cloud and IaC expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of related professional experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and overcome challenges through teamwork.
Experience deploying and maintaining services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
IaC technologies knowledge (Salt, Ansible, Chef, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, JFrog Artifactory, etc.).
Shell/Bash and scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc.).
Linux-based and open-source systems; container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

Design scalable deployment and configuration strategies for local and remote devices and servers.
Investigate and implement solutions to increase build system performance.
Improve automation and coverage of continuous delivery pipelines.
Evaluate, prioritize, and address infrastructure problem reports.
Work with a cross-disciplinary team and participate in design/code reviews.
