Job summary

TwinStream Limited is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers for a fully remote 3-month rolling contract outside IR35 to support a cross-domain system. The system uses an AMQP event-driven architecture with Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines, and automated configuration management to ensure scalable, observable, and highly available services for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible).
• Experience with docker containers & container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker Swarm).
• Experience using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational databases.
• Proficient with Linux CLI, scripting and automation.
• Understanding of monitoring, auto-scaling, performance tuning, DR best practices.
• Knowledge of network security protocols and AWS.
• Experience with monitoring tools (InfluxDB, Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Feature Development teams to promote new component versions into production efficiently.
• Maintain system availability according to SLAs using real-time monitoring and metrics.
• Instrument new system metrics and alerts to pre-empt issues and improve performance.
• Respond to monitoring alerts and incidents to minimise customer impact.
• Liaise with customer stakeholders to schedule capability changes and capture new service requirements.
• Apply automation to reduce manual operations burden.
