Job summary

ERPA is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our enterprise services team. You will build pipelines, automate deployments, and support Windows and Linux environments across VMware, AWS, and on-prem components.

The role emphasizes collaboration with platform teams, proactive change management, and delivering reliable production readiness through Ansible, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science required.
• Meaningful PeopleSoft knowledge is required.
• Experience integrating business and PeopleSoft technology is needed.
• ERP lifecycle implementations or upgrades are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create Jenkins pipelines for functional and web service automation to enable continuous delivery.
• Use Ansible and Ansible Tower for configuration management to automate tasks and deploy applications.
• Support Windows and Red Hat Linux environments (Windows 2012/2016, RHEL 7) for cloning, snapshots, and deployment automation.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and provisioning entry points in YAML.
• Automate software updates with Ansible and manage inventory across environments.
• Define Operational Viability standards for enterprise CM projects and deliver automation via Ansible and PHP scripts.
• Create and maintain Ansible scripts for multi-environment provisioning in OpenStack cloud.
• Coordinate with the Enterprise Platform Team to onboard pipeline applications and address security vulnerabilities.
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to ensure alignment with Production requirements.
• Assist in testing lifecycle improvements, including test data design and SQL query-based validation.
• Query database schemas and validate SOAP/RESTful services using appropriate tools.
• Support defect tracking and integration between Jenkins, Rally, and GitHub.
