Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong cloud experience to bridge our GitLab-based CI/CD practices with a growing footprint of customer workloads migrating from OpenShift to AWS container platforms (ECS/EKS).

The ideal candidate handles both platform maintenance and hands-on migration support in a remote work setup. You will guide architectural decisions for container orchestration on ECS/EKS, assist with OpenShift-to-AWS transitions, and collaborate across teams to

Qualifications

Hands-on AWS experience, with ECS and/or EKS.
GitLab CI/CD expertise and secure deployment practices.
OpenShift or Kubernetes experience for migration planning.
Containerization basics: Docker, networking, secrets management.
Migration experience for customers or internal teams.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support Nucleus in its AWS-hosted environment for reliability, performance, and security.
Support GitLab CI/CD pipelines and secure deployments used by customers.
Guide and support migrations from OpenShift to ECS/EKS, with architectural recommendations.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot deployments across GitLab, OpenShift, and AWS.
Document migration patterns, configuration standards, and known issues for repeatable processes.
