Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to lead secure cloud delivery, focusing on AWS-based CI/CD platforms and automation. The role requires evaluating and implementing pipeline enhancements with GitLab and related DevSecOps tools, while mentoring teammates and training customers.

Hybrid work setup is available; candidates should be within proximity for collaboration as needed. Strong communication and technical documentation are essential, with a TS/SSBI or Secret clearance

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps solutions.
• Experience with AWS cloud services including Amazon ECS and EKS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js) and/or .NET.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Atlassian tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills, including creating guidance, test plans, and training materials.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required upon hire; proof of certification provided with application.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain secure DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and sustain containerized environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to containers, repos, certificates, cloud services, and pipelines.
• Maintain and enhance pipeline tooling through automation and feature development.
• Perform regression testing and validation of platform, infrastructure, and changes.
• Provide technical support, training, demonstrations, and guidance to stakeholders.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, test plans, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support secure software delivery.
