Hewlett Packard Enterprise invites you to join the Factory Build Process - DevID Software Engineer role. This position supports the DevID service, a key PKI component, and collaborates across teams in the US and beyond to deliver secure certificate management for HPE hardware.

The role combines coding, test automation, and user support with primary USA-hour alignment and occasional late evenings/weekends as needed. Experience with GoLAN, Java, C, cryptography, and Linux containers is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical experience in GoLAN, Java, C, or related cryptography and PKI.
• Experience with X.509 certificate issuance and matrix cryptography concepts.
• Experience with hardware security modules (HSM) and TPM 2.0 fundamentals.
• Experience with Linux containers (Docker) and building microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and code testing automation.

Responsibilities

• Follow defects life cycle and build/release requirements with minimal guidance.
• Follow coding standards; document and implement enhancements discovered during development, testing, and integration.
• Contribute to definition and finalization of product strategy and SPEC requirements for DevID features.
• Provide POC and demonstrations to finalize requirements using approved design tools.
• Provide weekly status reports and maintain high-quality code with attention to detail.
• Communicate clearly, work independently or in teams, and ensure timely task completion.
• Produce automated tests and participate in DevID meetings during USA hours.
