Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a DevID Software Engineer to support the DevID service in the Factory Build process. This role primarily works from home as a remote/teleworker across the US with coordination for USA hours.

You will collaborate with the DeviD Architect and Software Development Lead on new functionality, bug fixes, and automated test scripts, ensuring secure PKI certificate operations for HPE hardware.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical experience in GoLAN service development and REST microservices.
• Experience with Java/C in legacy codebases and X.509/cryptography concepts.
• Ability to integrate with HSMs and TPM 2.0 components (go-tpm/go-attestation).
• Containerized Linux environments (Docker, nginx) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with CNSA 2.0 PQC concepts and PKCS#11 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DevID service code in a GoLAN-based REST microservice.
• Collaborate with DevID Architect/SD Lead on new functionality and bug fixes.
• Develop automated tests and validation, focusing on automation.
• Participate in USA-hours meetings and provide timely status updates.
• Support user questions and provide resolutions/workarounds as needed.
• Document changes and follow established coding standards.
