Emergent Order Foundation is seeking a Major Gifts Officer in Austin, TX, with remote-friendly options for the right candidate. You will own a portfolio of major donors, drive asks, and build long-term donor relationships in a frontline fundraising role.

You will report to the Director of Development and collaborate with the founder and CEO on donor strategy. This role requires travel and a strong commitment to EOF's mission and content.

Formación

• Minimum two years in frontline fundraising with a track record of soliciting and closing major gifts.
• Experience managing a donor portfolio and moving prospects through cultivation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; articulate a compelling case for support without scripts.
• Willing to travel domestically to meet donors regularly.
• Self-directed and comfortable in a lean, mission-driven organization.
• Genuine alignment with EOF's mission and content.

Responsabilidades

• Own a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects with goals set with the Director of Development.
• Execute cultivation and stewardship activity using relationship instincts and judgment.
• Report to the Director of Development and follow strategic direction.
• Reengage lapsed donors with personal, relationship-first outreach.
• Identify new prospects and move them from introduction to the ask.
• Travel to meet donors in person and maintain remote donor relationships.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and participate in portfolio reviews.
• Track fundraising metrics and raise obstacles with your manager.
