Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking a Development Lead to provide technical leadership for a growing software engineering team supporting strategic internal platforms and AI-enabled initiatives. You will design, build, and support scalable enterprise applications in a hands-on leadership role.

The position blends architecture, development, mentoring, and delivery leadership, with remote work options and a focus on Agile practices and collaboration with US and offshore teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience.
Hands-on with Python and modern backend frameworks.
Experience building REST APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise software applications.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
Support architecture, design, and delivery planning.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support production environments.
Participate in Agile development and sprint planning.
Collaborate with distributed development resources and hiring efforts.
