Job summary

Susan G. Komen is seeking a Development Director to lead a market-based fundraising program in a fully remote environment across the U.S.

You will oversee year‑round fundraising, manage a small team (potential 1–2 reports) and partner with state, regional and national fundraising teams to hit revenue targets. You will drive the MORE THAN PINK Walk/Race for the Cure efforts, cultivate sponsors, corporate teams and major gifts, and collaborate with executive leadership to build lasting donor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 5-7 years’ experience in fundraising, special events and team management.
• Proven ability to close on major gifts and corporate sponsorships.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a market fundraising program in collaboration with regional and national teams.
• Oversee MORE THAN PINK Walk/Race for the Cure planning and execution.
• Cultivate and secure sponsors, corporate teams and major donors.
• Manage a team (potential 1–2 direct reports) and ensure hitting revenue targets.
• Travel as required to support fundraising activities and events.
