Job summary

American Heart Association, Inc. is offering a remote 20-hour‑per‑week internship for Central PA events, supporting Laurel Highlands Heart Ball and Blair Go Red campaigns.

You will help with planning, logistics, outreach, and sponsor follow‑up from January to May in 2027, with travel to events as needed. Applicants should be seniors or graduate students in business, communications, nonprofit fundraising, or event management, and demonstrate Canva skills, strong writing, and multi‑platform social

Qualifications

• Seniors or graduate students pursuing related degree programs.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising and nonprofit work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing pre‑event logistics and on‑site management.
• Conduct pre‑event outreach to attendees and members of giving societies.
• Support sponsor materials and follow‑up to maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and organizing event information.
• Provide admin support like printed materials and supplies.
