Job summary

1Password is hiring for a remote role in the US/Canada with a focus on developer relations. You will develop the developer audience, craft technically accurate content, and collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy.

This role emphasizes async work with US/Canada business hours overlap and periodic in-person travel for US-based nomads. You will lead campaigns across X and Reddit, engage with creator communities, and help launch products with technical content and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience in developer marketing, technical social media, community growth, or developer relations.
• Track record of growing a developer or technical audience with measurable results.
• Strong writing skills and ability to turn technical ideas into engaging content.
• Technical fluency to follow developer documentation and collaborate with engineers.
• Experience coordinating creator partnerships or marketing campaigns with multiple contributors.
• Preferred: experience marketing developer tools, security products, AI tools; network of creator builders; or experience with employee advocacy and campaign attribution.

Responsibilities

• Grow 1Password's developer audience across X, Reddit, and other relevant channels.
• Create posts, threads, and short-form content about developer workflows, product capabilities, security, and AI agents.
• Identify and build relationships with technical creators, coordinate briefs and deliverables, manage approved budgets, and track performance.
• Support product launches with creator partnerships and social content that help developers understand new capabilities and get started.
• Build an employee ambassador program enabling engineers to share technical insights in their own voices.
• Participate in developer communities by contributing useful answers and gathering feedback.
• Amplify developer events and measure engagement to improve campaigns.
