Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Detection Analyst for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will analyze EDR telemetry and logs across Endpoint, Identity, Network, and Cloud to identify and publish threats for Managed Detection and Response customers.

You will improve workflows through orchestration and automation, ensuring high-fidelity threat analysis and concise communications at scale. Strong AI tool familiarity and security engineering mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows.
• Strong experience in Endpoint (EDR) and at least one detection domain (Cloud/SaaS, Identity, Email, or Network).
• Expertise using query languages across EDR or security platforms such as SQL or Lucene.

Responsibilities

• Analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across Endpoint, Identity, Network, and Cloud domains.
• Publish threats for customers with concise, actionable communications and remediation context.
• Improve Detection Operations workflows through orchestration and automation to handle high telemetry volumes.
