Job summary

The Berg Group is seeking a Designer who blends artistry with engineering to guide clients from concept to realization. You will design client projects using our ICE-enabled workflows, work from AutoCAD plans, and collaborate with Preconstruction to meet custom requests.

Remote work is welcome, with a dedicated home office and reliable internet required. This role requires AutoCAD experience, Revit/SketchUp familiarity, strong design process knowledge, and solid communication.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD experience required.
• Revit/SketchUp experience required.
• Strong understanding of the design process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and proactive mindset.
• Pursuing a degree or diploma in design or architecture.
• 3–4 years of college education preferred.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Design client projects using ICE software and AutoCAD plans.
• Assist Preconstruction with custom requests.
• Identify solutions to design/installation issues.
• Revise ICE files and DIRTT shop drawings as needed.
• Create visual renderings and 3D fly-throughs using ICE.
• Organize DIRTT standards, finishes, and library.
• Develop and update design documentation.
• Share knowledge to grow the designer team.
