Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Drafter to join our remote design team, supporting projects across the Western Cape and beyond. You will translate concepts into precise construction documents, floor plans, elevations, and sections, with strong AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.

The role demands meticulous drafting, adherence to codes, and clear communication with architects and engineers in a fully distributed project environment.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in Architectural Drafting.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of architectural drafting principles and construction terminology.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
• Develop 3D models and renderings to visualize architectural concepts and designs.
• Assist architects and designers in preparing and revising project documentation.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client requirements.
• Maintain organized digital files and project records for easy access and retrieval.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members through digital communication tools and platforms.
