Job summary

The Berg Group is seeking a Design Intern in Chaska, MN, offering a remote-friendly internship. You will design client projects using ICE software, populate space from scratch or from AutoCAD plans, and collaborate with Preconstruction to meet client needs.

Ideal candidates have AutoCAD and Revit/SketchUp experience, strong design sense, and effective communication skills. This role supports design documentation and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have AutoCAD experience.
• Revit/SketchUp experience required.
• Understanding of design process and construction documents.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Strategic planning and problem solving in design projects.

Responsibilities

• Design client projects using ICE software, from scratch or from AutoCAD plans.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction to support custom requests.
• Identify and resolve issues with designs or installations.
• Revise ICE files and DIRTT shop drawings as needed.
• Create visual renderings and 3D fly-throughs using ICE.
• Organize DIRTT standards, finishes, and library assets.
• Develop and update design documentation and share knowledge within the team.
