Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) seeks an Avionics Technician for the MQ-9 program within the Aero Services division. The role is deployable with FLEX scheduling and requires the ability to live at various locations while traveling overseas as needed.

You will install, configure and maintain UAV electronics, ground control stations, and related systems, providing guidance to customers and teams, with emphasis on troubleshooting and compliance with technical orders and procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires two-year technical degree or trade school plus two+ years in aviation or electronics.
• Must be able to perform non-routine tasks and demonstrate avionics knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical orders; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate UAVs, ground control stations and related equipment at deployment locations.
• Analyze requirements and ensure product implementation meets specs.
• Provide install, configuration and repair support for ground/airborne electronics.
