Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) is seeking an Avionics Technician for the MQ-1C program. This deployable role requires FLEX scheduling and OCONUS travel, with living arrangements at multiple locations as needed.

Under supervision, you will install, apply and maintain unmanned aerial vehicle electronic equipment, including ground control stations and ground data terminals, following technical orders and procedures.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or trade school equivalency with 2+ years of aviation or electronics experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot at the component level.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate UAV ground control stations and associated support equipment.
• Provide technical support for installation, configuration, and repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair ground and airborne electronic equipment.
• Fabricate and repair wire harnesses.
• Document procedures and maintain required records.
