Job summary

Bluetree Dental is seeking a Temporary Billing & Insurance Coordinator for our centralized practice services team. This 100% remote, full-time role runs through February 28, 2027, with Pacific Time hours and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include claim lifecycle management via Open Dental, insurance verification, payer liaison for denials, and accurate posting of payments. Must reside in NV, CA, OR, ID, or WA and have 1–3 years Open Dental experience; pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on Open Dental claims administration experience.
• Experience with dental billing and insurance processes.
• Strong communication and persistence in handling insurance IVR and payer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Claim lifecycle management: prepare, review, and submit clean claims daily via Open Dental.
• Obtain detailed insurance breakdowns and accurately input into patient files.
• Liaise with payers; follow up on outstanding or denied claims and advocate for practices.
• Audit aging reports, process co-pays, and post insurance payments with care.
