Placements24 is seeking a remote Demand Planner for the FMCG sector to develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, leveraging statistical models and market intelligence.

You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance, monitor forecast accuracy, and support the S&OP process in a remote-first environment. This role offers flexible remote work and opportunities to impact inventory strategy.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of demand planning/forecasting experience (FMCG preferred).
• Proficiency in statistical forecasting techniques and demand planning software (SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and inventory management.
• Ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and historical data.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to refine forecasts.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and promotional plans to identify demand drivers.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes of deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Participate in S&OP process, providing demand insights and recommendations.
• Utilize demand planning software to support forecasting activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes and methodologies.
• Communicate forecast information and risks to stakeholders.
• Support new product introductions by developing initial demand forecasts.
