Job summary

Embedded Shishya is seeking a highly analytical Demand Planning and Inventory Optimization Manager to lead forecasting, inventory management, and stock optimization across its catalog for an Amazon FBA-focused operation. This fully remote, international role reports to the Supply Chain team and collaborates with brand managers and suppliers to balance cost efficiency with product availability.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in demand planning for ecommerce, strong data analysis

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand planning and inventory management for ecommerce.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Experience managing inventory for Amazon Marketplace (FBA) and related processes is a plus.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Experience with international suppliers is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand across the entire product catalog based on historical data, trends, and market insights.
• Calculate and manage optimal inventory levels to balance product availability with cost control.
• Generate purchase orders for replenishment and collaborate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Monitor and optimize stock levels across the catalog, minimizing overstock and stockouts.
• Provide regular analytics and KPI reports, recommending inventory adjustments.
• Collaborate with brand managers, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders to align forecasts with marketing and sales.
• Oversee Amazon marketplace inventory management, ensuring accurate stock and fulfillment alignment.
