Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead strategic technology delivery for a major Banking and Financial Services client, driving modernization, cloud adoption, and AI-led engineering transformation.

You will own end-to-end programs across Banking, Payments, Wealth Management and Retirement Services, build executive relationships, mentor cross-functional teams, and support growth through consulting-led engagements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technology delivery, consulting, program management, or engineering leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing large technology portfolios within Banking and Financial Services.
• Strong domain expertise in Banking, Payments, Wealth Management, and Retirement Services.
• Demonstrated success leading modernization, cloud, data, integration, and quality engineering programs.
• Hands-on experience driving Generative AI adoption across the SDLC.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of strategic Banking, Payments, Wealth & Retirement technology programs, ensuring governance, quality, and business outcomes.
• Build and manage executive-level client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for technology strategy and transformation.
• Lead large-scale digital transformation programs including application modernization, cloud adoption, platform engineering, integrations, and quality engineering.
• Drive AI-led engineering transformation with GenAI-enabled SDLC practices, developer copilots, intelligent testing, and automation accelerators.
• Provide technology leadership across solution architecture, delivery planning, engineering execution, risk management, and operational excellence.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams comprising delivery managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and program managers.
• Support account growth through consulting-led engagements, solutioning, proposal development, and executive presentations.
• Establish delivery best practices, reusable frameworks, governance models, and productivity metrics to improve efficiency and time-to-market.
