Job summary

Accelint Holdings LLC's Lyntris program seeks a detail-oriented Technical Writer in San Diego, CA. This full-time role offers remote/hybrid work options and requires an active U.S. national security clearance.

You will develop and maintain manuals, ICDs, test plans, SOPs, and training materials, working with engineers to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation while adhering to DoD terminology and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. national security clearance.
• 3–5 years of technical writing experience in engineering or technical fields.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and terminology.
• Knowledge of DoD terminology and defense documentation processes.
• Proficient with documentation tools (Acrobat, MS Office, XML editors, FrameMaker).
• Ability to write from engineering drawings and specifications; clear, concise documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain manuals, ICDs, test plans, SOPs, and training materials.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate complex concepts into user-friendly documentation.
• Establish documentation frameworks and best practices for consistency and currency.
• Tailor content for engineers, developers, end-users, and stakeholders.
• Provide on-demand documentation support for troubleshooting and deployment.
• Review content for accuracy and coherence; incorporate feedback.
• Proofread and edit materials for precision.
