Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a remote role based in Utah. The Attorney will manage Colorado defense matters from intake to trial, appearing in state and federal courts and administrative forums on behalf of insurers and employers.

We offer base salary between $100,000 and $160,000 per year plus bonuses, with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and generous PTO. Office locations are in Denver, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Recent defense litigation experience is required.
• Open to attorneys with a district court background.
• CO Bar admission is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of Colorado defense matters from intake through hearing, trial, or settlement in state and federal courts and in administrative forums.
• Represent insurance carriers, self-insured employers, private businesses, and third-party administrators.
• Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences on behalf of carriers, employers, and their insureds.
• Draft pleadings, position statements, discovery, motions, and briefs in court and administrative settings.
• Advise clients on coverage, claim handling, and risk, aiming for early resolution where appropriate.
