Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Servicing is seeking a Remote Default Reporting and Analytics Analyst to ensure accurate and timely reporting of portfolios for government programs. You will develop reporting and analytics around default reporting, supported by SQL and Excel, and work with the Default Management team to address regulatory changes.

This role offers a remote schedule, comprehensive healthcare, and a discretionary 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Three plus (3+) years’ experience in multiple functional areas within loan servicing, preferably within default.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience with data analysis and auditing large sums of data and identifying discrepancies.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analysis on issues from identification to resolution, communicating downstream implications.
• Define exceptions and report requirements to ensure accurate default reporting.
• Collaborate with default management on issues/regulatory changes and analyze processes to correct data reporting errors.
• Validate and troubleshoot exception reports and default data to ensure discrepancies are identified.
• Perform data analysis to ensure accuracy before delivering to customers.
• Alter existing reports to provide data for ad-hoc business needs.
• Create and maintain process documentation and keep it up to date per policy.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
