Job summary

Signature Performance seeks a Database Administrator III to support and maintain enterprise-scale databases on a remote/nationwide basis. The role focuses on performance tuning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance to meetSLAs for internal and external clients.

In this position, you will provide guidance on database solutions, collaborate across teams, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations. Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS, and PowerShell is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree and five years of database administration preferred.
• Experience with T-SQL, SQL Server and performance tuning.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Experience with SSIS/SSRS/SSAS and PowerShell is preferred.

Responsibilities

• T-SQL performance tuning to resolve day-to-day critical production issues using native SQL Server and third-party tools.
• Performs configuration, scripting, analysis, installation, monitoring, upgrades, and administration for database management systems.
• Ensure service level agreements are met for internal and external clients.
• Off-hour production support (including weekends) and 24/7 on-call rotation necessary.
• Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Effectively communicate, coordinate, and collaborate with both technical and business teams as well as auditors.
