Job summary

Alaska Northstar Federal is seeking a DB Links Conversion Developer to join our team on a long-term project. The role is fully remote and supports modernization of a mission-critical workforce platform through cloud migration and DevSecOps practices.

You will design, develop, and unit test PL/SQL extraction routines for 45 partner interfaces, migrate legacy links, and ensure secure, delimited file transports to SFTP servers. Collaboration with MPs and robust documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance at minimum.
• Active Security+ CE or equivalent IAT Level II.
• Bachelor's Degree completed.
• 2+ years data mapping and delimited file structures.
• 4+ years with Oracle Database and cloud DB experience.
• 4+ years with Java or Python.
• 4+ years with Oracle PL/SQL (Packages, Procedures, Functions), data extraction, and SFTP.
• Git/version control, unit testing, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test PL/SQL extraction routines across 45 external partner interfaces, migrating legacy database links to secure, delimited file extracts via SFTP.
• Develop PL/SQL packages to extract data into delimited files for 45 partner interfaces and implement extraction specs based on ICDs using automated file transports to target SFTP servers.
• Refactor code for performance, readability, and development standards; troubleshoot, debug, and remediate defects.
• Collaborate with Mission Partners and store code in Source Control System.
