Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Mid-Level Databricks/Informatica Data Engineer for a remote contract role focused on data modernization, cloud migration, and analytics. You will design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and Databricks, supporting BI, reporting, and analytics efforts.

The position requires 5+ years in data engineering with 3+ years in Databricks/Spark and Informatica, strong SQL, and experience with data integration at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering, ETL development, or data warehousing.
• 3+ years with Databricks, Apache Spark, or cloud analytics platforms.
• 3+ years with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or Informatica Cloud.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning.
• Experience designing enterprise data integration solutions.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines with Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
• Build and optimize Databricks notebooks, workflows, and pipelines for large-scale processing.
• Develop data ingestion frameworks from structured and unstructured sources.
• Implement transformations, cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes.
• Create scalable solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements.
